The 316L Stainless Steel Coil market has gained some support, but the scale is limited.

The demand side of 316L Stainless Steel Coils exhibits a dual characteristic of seasonal weakness and structural differentiation, becoming the core resistance that restrains the upward trend of steel prices. In July, the weather conditions in the north and south of China were different. The south experienced continuous rainy seasons, while the north had extremely hot and humid weather. In some areas, there were also typhoon invasions. As a result, the pace of outdoor construction projects slowed significantly. At the end-user sites, a majority adopted the strategy of purchasing on demand and maintaining low inventories. The spot transactions of 316L Stainless Steel Coils were fluctuating, and market inventories continued to accumulate.

316L Stainless Steel Coils, as the main consumer of steel, is under dual pressures from real estate and infrastructure: real estate developers have low willingness to acquire land and start new projects, and the renovation efforts for completions are insufficient. The steel consumption in the real estate chain continues to shrink; although there are sufficient reserve projects and continuous implementation of special bonds for infrastructure, it is currently in a transitional period from fund allocation, project approval to actual construction, with the release of physical work volume lagging behind. In the short term, it is difficult to generate incremental steel demand. The steel consumption in the manufacturing sector is uneven, with seasonal declines in traditional manufacturing demands such as construction machinery and ordinary steel structures; the demand for steel in sectors like wind power, energy storage, offshore engineering, new energy vehicles, and high-end equipment remains highly prosperous, providing certain support for the 316L Stainless Steel Coils market, but the volume is limited and cannot offset the overall demand gap. Exports are also under pressure, with the manufacturing sector in overseas countries experiencing a decline in prosperity, and the export orders for stainless steel products have weakened month-on-month. Only the export of high-end plates maintains resilience, having a weak boosting effect on the overall market of 316L Stainless Steel Coils.
